Summary
We're on the lookout for experienced Healthcare Assistants to join our agency team and support care homes across Birmingham.
We assist adults who need help with daily activities and personal care, and we’re looking for compassionate individuals who are committed to making a real difference in their lives. Key Responsibilities:
1. Promote and encourage residents' independence.
2. Carry out regular safety checks on residents and maintain their safety in both communal areas and private rooms.
3. Assist with personal care based on the individual needs of the residents.
4. Support residents during mealtimes, including feeding and preparing light snacks.
5. Safely use manual handling equipment for those requiring additional assistance.
6. Complete daily documentation such as care charts, meal logs, and personal care records.
7. Build meaningful relationships with residents and colleagues, providing companionship and support.
Requirements:
1. At minimum 6 months of UK care experience (Essential)
2. Competency in using manual handling equipment (Essential)
3. Good written and verbal communication skills in English (Essential)
4. Ability to work well under pressure (Essential)
5. A positive and professional work attitude (Essential)
6. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK (Essential)
