The team The South Devon Satellite Kidney Unit is a nurse-led outpatient dialysis unit on the outskirts of Torquay, providing haemodialysis 6 days a week from 07:30-23:00hrs. We are looking for a Senior Health Care Support Worker to join our team - Renal experience is not necessary as full haemodialysis training will be provided. Applicants are required to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and high standards of clinical practice. You will be required to work collaboratively with dialysis unit staff and the wider renal multi-disciplinary team to assess, plan and implement haemodialysis treatment under the supervision of the registered nurses. Working Pattern: We care for our patients around the clock so we will need you to work a range of shift patterns. The working pattern will be a mixture of early (07:30-18:30) and late (12:00-23:00) shifts worked Monday-Saturday. We are closed on Sundays, Christmas Day and New Year's Day, with no overnight working required. Depending on your shift pattern and working hours, you may also receive additional enhancements to your pay. Please note that as this post is not a full time position it does not meet the salary requirements for applicants who require sponsorship.
