Summary
To independently assess clients mental state, identify any significant risk factors and draw up management plans, both in general and pertaining to occupational functioning. Ensure that this is effectively communicated where required, especially when delegating to unqualified staff. To include physical occupational functioning needs through treatment planning, to provide minor adaptive equipment where required. To raise more major adaptation needs with supervisors for negotiation with ASC and the CHS, referring as necessary. To work closely with the Senior OT to develop, deliver and co-facilitate therapeutic and skills based groups, currently including the walking group, co-production meeting, as examples.
