To assist in the setting up and clearing away of all activities and equipment:
To ensure that high standards of hygiene and safety are maintained at all times:
To ensure that any information received concerning the children is kept confidential at all times:
To assist in the provision of a wide variety of activities for the children as required by the supervisor:
To attend staff meetings as required
To attend training as requested and agreed by the manager
To be involved in curriculum planning, policy writing and record keeping as requested by the supervisor:
To encourage the participation and involvement of all parents of children attending the group:
To actively encourage children’s progress in all area of development, types and stages of play, by interaction and extension of play activities:
To undertake a key worker role with specific children:
To report and discuss with the supervisor any observations or personal insight appropriate to a child’s welfare and development:
To be responsible for keeping the individual record file for each of the children in the key worker group:
To work as part of a team and support colleagues:
Support the work and beliefs of the management by helping to create an all inclusive environment that promotes open and equal opportunities for children and adults.
To ensure you inform the setting of any convictions that a rise during your employment.
To be able to work between the hours of 7.45 and 6pm
