Hours
3 hours per week, worked as follows:
2 hours on a Sunday (start time 11am, although this can be a flexible)
1 hour on one weekday (or two half hour calls on two weekdays) to be discussed and agreed at interview.
There may be occasions where the hours vary, so the ability to have a flexible approach is beneficial.

About the employer
The employer is a lady living with her two children in the family home.
A personal assistant is sought to support her with day to day living tasks and general support. There is no personal care required.
Main Duties
• To assist the Employer to do the laundry on a Sunday, i.e. loading and unloading the machines and to help put the clothing away.
• Changing bedding and making the beds as necessary.
• General light household duties as required.
• To assist the employer in batch cooking meals for her and her children.
• Cleaning and tidying the kitchen afterwards, as necessary.
• To support and prompt the Employer to order repeat medications and to aide with general household administration.
• Supporting with the Employer’s attendance of occasional local appointments as required.
• Accompanying the Employer on local shopping trips, and assisting the Employer to pick up “click and collect” grocery orders from a local supermarket. To support with carrying the groceries in from the car and putting items away.
• You may be asked, on rare occasions, to drive the Employer’s Motability vehicle. Therefore, a full driving licence is preferred (insurance restrictions may apply). However non-drivers are still encouraged to apply, as using the car is not a necessity.
• Any other task which the employer may reasonably ask you to do which falls within the scope of the job as a Personal Assistant.
Additional employment information
The successful applicant will be friendly, able to give empathetic support, while respecting the employer’s independence but also able to take instruction.
Must be flexible, trustworthy and active with a good sense of humour.
