Summary
The IT Trainer will be responsible for assessing training needs, developing engaging learning materials, and delivering high-quality IT training programs to employees or clients. This role requires a dynamic professional with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Assess organizational or client IT training needs through surveys, interviews, and performance data.
Design and develop engaging training materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, and presentations.
Deliver instructor-led training sessions (in-person or virtual) on topics such as Microsoft Office, cybersecurity, networking, cloud computing, and company-specific systems.
Provide one-on-one coaching or group workshops to improve technical competencies.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance assessments, implementing improvements as needed.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current technologies, software, and instructional methods.
Support onboarding programs by training new hires on internal IT systems and processes.
Collaborate with IT and HR departments to align training content with business goals.
Troubleshoot basic technical issues during training sessions.
Maintain accurate training records and produce reports on participation, progress, and outcomes.
