Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic person to join the multi-disciplinary cardiovascular rehabilitation team. The team delivers a multi modal approach with individualised programmes of care developed with the patients and their families.

The post would be suited to someone who is currently working within the exercise sector but wishes to move into an exercise role within the NHS or an individual who has recently completed a course in exercise.

You will receive support and guidance from a very experienced, knowledgeable, and motivated multidisciplinary team with plenty of opportunity for personal development.

The candidate must be organised and possess excellent communication skills in order to support the delivery of the service across primary and secondary care.

This a community post requiring travel across Salford, the post holder should hold a full driving licence and suitable vehicle for work purposes.

Key responsibilities of the post will involve assisting exercise staff in the administration and organisation of group exercise classes, functional exercise assessments and individual patient treatment plans.

You will assist in the management and organisation of work as required including ensuring effective communication is maintained at all times and undertake a variety of patient clerical and house-keeping duties.



You will play a role in the supervision and assessment of all learners and unregistered staff and contribute to effective multi-disciplinary team working.
