Summary
Key responsibilities
We are currently in search of candidates for a Labourer / Trainee Container Repairer position within our Knowsley depot. The position requires active and physically demanding tasks, emphasizing a primary focus on maintaining health and safety standards.
We are a very busy site specializing in the repair and maintenance of shipping containers. Job roll is to learn how to repair these containers from one of our very experienced operatives already working on site. This will include the use of welding machines, Burning torches and numerous power tools. You would be working with steel, timber and painting completed repairs.
•The ideal candidates would be expected to work in a busy environment and would be expected to carry out the day-to-day duties of keeping a large site, clean, tidy
they must be:
•Self-motivated, flexible approach to work, disciplined, organised and have a can-do attitude
•Willing to Work Hard to achieve their goals.
•The ability to use initiative and the willingness to learn new skills.
Skills required
Knowledge of welding would be advantage
Previous use of handheld power tools useful but not essential.
