Ribble Court is a modern, 53-bed care home offering exceptional nursing and residential dementia care. With state-of-the-art facilities including a coffee shop/bistro, hair and nail salon, landscaped gardens, and dedicated dining and lounge areas, we’re redefining the care home experience—for both residents and staff.
As a Chef at Ribble Court, you will:
Preparing and serving nutritious, well-balanced meals tailored to residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
Supporting the kitchen team in maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards.
Assisting with daily kitchen operations including prep, service, and cleaning.
Collaborating with the Head Chef to ensure smooth service and consistent quality.
Managing stock levels, reducing waste, and helping with ingredient ordering.
Engaging with residents to gather feedback and enhance their dining experience.
What We’re Looking For:
Has experience working in a professional kitchen (care home experience is a plus).
Loves cooking fresh, wholesome meals to a high standard.
Brings a positive, team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills.
Is organised, detail-oriented, and committed to cleanliness and safety.
Holds a Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification (or is willing to obtain one).
