Summary
1. THE POST The appointment is for a full time Consultant Urological Surgeon starting on 10PAs initially working across our two base sites of RBTH and BGTH. There is ample scope to increase up to 12 PAs mutual agreement based on the needs of the department. It is intended that the successful candidate will have an interest and experience in benign urological conditions, especially kidney stone disease (including PCNL surgery and ureteroscopy) and complex BPH management, including minimally invasive surgical treatment for benign prostates. The post holder is expected to: 1. Provide a patient centred service, respecting the privacy, dignity and choice of individual patients. 2. Observe and comply with clinical and non-clinical policies and procedures (including local and national employment and personnel policies) agreed with employees and management. 3. Be closely involved in clinical audit and other clinical governance issues (support for quality improvement projects and audits is provided by the Trust audit team).
