About the Role: Mitie has an exciting opportunity for a Security Officer at our SITE DETAILS. Enjoy discounted benefits and gain high-quality experience within the security industry. Full training and a quality induction will be provided.
Responsibilities:
-Act as a visual deterrent on the shop floor
-Safely detain offenders following H&S training
-Utilize store security systems, including CCTV and EAS gates
-Collaborate with covert security operatives
-Investigate losses and support inquiries about known offenders
-Complete accurate incident reports and company documentation
-Report crime incidents using a company-provided tablet
-Conduct routine patrols to ensure customer safety
-Record patrols in daily activity sheets
-Provide security updates during store briefings
-Conduct shift handovers to ensure service continuity
-Maintain a safe and secure environment for all
Qualifications:
-SIA Door Supervision or Security Guarding License
-Five-year checkable employment history or documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or education
Desirable Experience:
-Previous experience in a retail security role
