A day in the life of a Murphy Stakeholder Advisor
- Support stakeholder analysis to ensure stakeholder drivers, requirements and influences are known and taken into account throughout a project
- Support the development of a Stakeholder Engagement Plan for each project, that aligns with the Stakeholder Engagement Strategy, with support from the Project Manager and Stakeholder Manager
- Work closely with the Project Manager, to support all engagement with stakeholders including the client, local authorities, statutory and non-statutory bodies (including environment & technical organisations), industry & business, land & property, communities and other parties to establish strong working relationships
- Be a point of contact for all stakeholders for problem solving and communication between Murphy and clients
- Support any third party consultant engaged by either Murphy or our client to ensure a joined up approach to stakeholder management and/or public relations
- Support the application of all relevant consents and approvals
- Undertake stakeholder mapping and prepare communications to stakeholders and respond to stakeholder enquiries
- Work collaboratively with other members of the project team, providing briefings and support to technical teams for meetings with stakeholders
- Attend stakeholder meetings with technical team members and ensure feedback of stakeholder responses and requests to technical teams are responded to within agreed timescales
- Ensure an accurate audit trail is maintained for all stakeholder engagement and all contact/activities are recorded on stakeholder database
- Report progress and updates on a weekly basis
- Attend Stakeholder and Customer meetings both internal and external
- Provide input to the development of tenders as required
- Lead projects on the adherence to our Social Value Development Plan by over seeing their initiatives and ensure targets are met;
- With the support of others, identify opportunities to increase the number of employee’s taking volunteer days in cooperation and alignment to client and company targets.

- Proven track record of building relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- Experience working on water based projects is desirable
- High attention to detail with a right first time ethos
- Motivated, organised and diligent
- Full clean driving license
- Flexibility to travel to multiple site locations with overnight stays
- Computer literacy in Microsoft, Office applications etc.
