Maple Cross
We are ambitious
That’s why we we’re keen to hear from determined and motivated people like you to help us deliver on our promises.
We’re proud to have been appointed to a new 8-year Framework with Thames Water. As the UK’s largest water and wastewater services provider, Thames Water plays a vital role in ensuring a reliable, sustainable network for millions of customers. We're excited to support their long-term vision by delivering essential infrastructure that strengthens network resilience, boosts environmental performance, and meets the growing needs of the region.
We are looking for an experienced Site Agent to join our team delivering clean water mains renewal projects. You’ll oversee site teams, manage resources, and work closely with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality.
Here are some of the activities you will be involved in…
- Lead site teams and subcontractors to deliver works safely and to specification
- Manage programme, resources, budgets, and site logistics, including temporary works and lifting operations
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, environmental and quality plans, and company policies
- Act as first escalation point for site issues and support the Project Manager in delivering objectives
- Coach, mentor, and develop your team, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and operational teams to maintain progress and minimise disruption
We would love to hear from you if…
You have proven experience on clean water mains renewal projects, managing teams and site delivery. You are technically confident, with knowledge of Thames Water standards, temporary works, service avoidance, and CDM regulations.
Additionally, you will have SMSTS, a clean UK manual driving licence, Streetworks Supervisor (NRSWA), Water Hygiene, and First Aid qualifications. Strong leadership, communication, organisational skills, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach are essential.
