The warehouse operative is an Integral element of the day to day operational functionality delivering objectives and outputs efficiently and effectively within a KNGD warehouse environment.
How you create impact
- Complete the daily MHE safety checks (where applicable)
- Carry out assigned tasks including: picking, packing, goods receipt, checking, loading & unloading of vehicles, hygiene, the processing of returns and stock maintenance and integrity tasks.
- Operate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and carry out other assigned Computer based tasks as required
- Comply and contribute to the KN 5s standards within the working area
- Actively contribute towards continuous improvement projects and ideas
- Operate to trained work instructions e.g. ABC Modules/ WI
- Adhere to company standards as detailed in the Code of Conduct Policy
- Comply with all instructed Safe Working Practices including the reporting of all accidents and incidents within the workplace
- Achieve individual and team productivity performance standards including accuracy
- Adopt KN Compass behaviours
- Follow the escalation process where there is any deviation from the standard process
- Requirement to work at height in a safe and effective manner in line with training provided
- The individual will be employed as a part of a multi-skilled warehouse team
What we would like you to bring
- Experience of working to agreed targets
- PC literate
- MHE licence (where applicable)
- Understanding of warehouse practises e.g. picking, loading
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
- Reliable and committed to attending work on time
- Good Communication skills
- Ability to achieve a high level of accuracy
- High attention to detail
