Term time only plus 1 week, which is 5 training daysHagley Catholic High School are delighted to offer an opportunity to join the Inclusion Leadership Team as Assistant SENDCO working alongside our current SENDCO and Assistant SENDCO to manage SEND provision. This is a new position as we grow our support for SEND learners and all things inclusion and would suit someone with experience as a Level 4 HLTA.
We are seeking to appoint an energetic, driven and passionate practitioner who has inclusive education at their heart. The successful candidate will co-lead and coordinate the provision of our Learning HUB focusing specifically on:
• Managing Learning Plans and EHCP administration for identified students
• Triage SEN referrals from our electronic ADPR referral system
• Interventions: planning and delivering academic interventions and support especially in English and Maths
• Management of literacy intervention
• Day to day management and direction of Learning Support Team as a member of the Inclusion Leadership Team.
The appointed candidate would be expected to be qualified to at least Level 4, with the potential opportunity to take on an higher level apprenticeship considered.
The main purpose of this role is to support all aspects of teaching and learning for the students at the Hagley Catholic High School but most specifically those with a special educational need.
