Summary
Job summary: To work as part of the Community and Family Support Services developing social work programmes to support children, young adults and their families alongside other members of the clinical team. To support children and young adults to make informed decisions for themselves. To respond appropriately as an advocate to support children and young adults when they are interfacing with statutory services. To engage with statutory services within Helen & Douglas House commissioning areas. To participate in the referral and review processes in Helen & Douglas House. To be a key member of the Safeguarding team. To work with the Director of Clinical services to ensure that staff are trained in accordance with local and statutory guidance and legislation To provide support for Helen & Douglas House staff where necessary and appropriate. To line manage and work closely with the Youth Transition Worker.
