Summary
UKAS-accredited calibration laboratory based in Bradford is currently seeking a Calibration Engineer to join its growing technical team. You will be responsible for calibrating a wide range of test and measurement equipment, ensuring all work is carried out in line with UKAS, ISO, and internal quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Calibrate optical, electrical, and dimensional test equipment to UKAS standards
Carry out fault diagnosis and minor repairs where required
Produce accurate calibration certificates and technical reports
Work in accordance with ISO 17025 quality procedures
Respond to technical queries from customers
Maintain calibration records and documentation
Requirements
HNC and HND or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Optical Engineering or related discipline
Experience in a calibration or test environment
Understanding of ISO 17025 and UKAS procedures
Experience with optical calibration equipment (lasers, power meters, spectrometers)
Laboratory-based calibration experience
