We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team, based from our Southampton office. This is a permanent, office-based role responsible for managing electrical projects typically valued up to £1 million, though project values may vary.
Projects are delivered across the UK, therefore flexibility to travel when required is essential. A background in healthcare projects would be highly beneficial, although not essential.
Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Southampton to support day-to-day attendance at the office.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage electrical projects from pre-construction through to final completion
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget
• Oversee project programmes, cost control, and cash flow
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
• Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and progress updates
• Attend site visits and project meetings as required
• Use project management systems effectively (experience with Procore Systems is desirable)
• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar role
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations within commercial environments
• Experience delivering projects up to circa £1 million
• Background in healthcare projects is advantageous but not essential
• Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Full UK driving licence preferred
• Proficiency with project management software (Procore experience desirable)
