Salary: £27.17 per hour
To supervise and line manage a small team of 6 social workers who will be working within the front line family assessment support team. You will be responsible for case management and oversight of the cases within the team, allocation, supervision personal and professional, managing duty and authorising reports for conferencing and pre-proceedings/Court work.
The team hold cases from allocation in child in need assessment process, child protection, pre-proceedings and Court. The case closes to the team when work is completed or final Order's are made. This means a Practice supervisor needs to be confident in different thresholds and processes within short and long term front line children services.
You will need to support and manage the Key performance indicators within your team to ensure that work is being timely recorded and these are met. You will support ASYE and students within the team and staff well-being and absences within your small team.
2/3 days a week in office non duty and 4 days on duty - duty is 1 in every 3 weeks
