Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a challenging and varied post at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. This is a full time substantive 10 Programmed Activities (PA) post based within the general paediatric and diabetes department. Applicants for this post must have extensive experience in general Paediatrics and Paediatric Diabetes. Applicants must be on the GMC’s Specialist Register for Paediatrics or within 6 months of CCT at the time of interview.
The appointee will be contracted for an average of 3 programmed clinic activities per week in general paediatrics and diabetes and will contribute to general paediatrics second-on weeks, winter second on weekends and resident shifts. There will also be requirement to contribute to the diabetes hot weeks and on calls. The exact format of this will be agreed with the appointee at commencement of the post.
