Level 2 Sports Coach - Primary Schools (Ipswich & Woodbridge)
£10.00 - £12.21 per hour | Term-time | Part-time | Monday–Friday | Split shifts
We are looking for enthusiastic Level 2 qualified Sports Coaches to deliver fun, engaging physical activity sessions for children in local primary schools across Ipswich and Woodbridge.
This is a part-time, term-time role with regular weekday work, ideal for coaches who enjoy working with children and want consistent hours.
Working pattern:
This role is based around split shifts, which may include:
• Breakfast clubs
• Lunchtime activity sessions
• After-school clubs
(Optional) multi-activity holiday clubs during school holidays
What you’ll be doing:
• Delivering fun, safe and engaging sports and activity sessions
• Encouraging confidence, teamwork and participation
• Creating a positive and inclusive environment for all children
• Managing small groups and maintaining good behaviour
• Acting as a positive role model in school settings
• Following safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times
What we’re looking for:
Essential:
• Age 18+ (insurance and Ofsted requirement)
• Level 2 sports qualification
• Driving licence and transport to travel between local schools
• Experience working with children
• A positive, reliable and professional attitude
Desirable:
• Paediatric First Aid
• Safeguarding training
• Previous school-based experience
