About the role:
Sanders Senior Living is seeking an experienced and passionate Commissioning Home Manager to lead the opening of one of our new care homes. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping a service delivering outstanding care from day one.
As Commissioning Home Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful pre-opening, launch and ongoing management of the home. You will ensure the home is fully compliant, well-staffed, and embedded within the local community while delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the commissioning and opening of the care home
Recruit, develop and inspire a high-performing team
Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and company policies
Develop strong relationships with residents, families, professionals and the local community
Drive occupancy, reputation and quality outcomes
Manage budgets, resources and operational performance
Embed a positive culture focused on dignity, respect and excellence in care

You will be an experienced and confident care professional, with a proven track record as a Commissioning Home Manager. You will have an excellent understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards, with the ability to lead a service through registration, mobilisation and growth. You will be comfortable managing multiple priorities while inspiring and developing your team. As well as this, you will be passionate about delivering outstanding, person-centred care and committed to building a positive, high-performing culture from day one.
