Summary
As a Clothing Specialist at Fin & Game, you will be vital in ensuring our customers receive expert advice on styling and garment selection. Your passion for outdoor clothing and your sales background will create a welcoming and productive environment for all customers visiting the store. In addition to customer engagement, you will be responsible for merchandising the clothing section to ensure an appealing and organised presentation. You will also work closely with the buying team to complete and refine our clothing ranges, ensuring our inventory meets the needs and preferences of our customers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement:
Greet and assist customers enthusiastically, providing expert advice on styling and garment selection. Foster a positive, informative shopping experience and build strong relationships with customers.
Sales and Product Knowledge:
Recommend and guide customers in selecting clothing and accessories, ensuring their needs and preferences are met. Stay updated on the latest fashion trends, promotions, and products to provide accurate and helpful information.
Merchandising:
Ensure the clothing section is attractive, organised, and reflects the brand’s image. Implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales.
Collaboration with Buying Team:
Work closely with the buying team to complete and refine clothing ranges. Provide feedback on customer preferences and emerging trends to inform buying decisions.
Customer Support:
Address customer inquiries, provide detailed product information, and offer after-sales support. Resolve customer issues promptly to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Inventory Management:
Assist in maintaining a well-organised and visually appealing shop floor, including merchandise displays. Monitor and restock inventory, collaborating with the team to maintain a diverse, relevant product range.
Point of Sale Operations:
Process customer transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. Handle various payment methods, including cash, card, and others, while maintaining register accuracy.
Qualifications:
Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a fashion or outdoor clothing setting.
In-depth knowledge of styling and garment selection.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong IT skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Hours:
Full-time, circa 37 – 40 hours per week.
