Summary

The Registered Care Manager will act as the named manager for the service and will be responsible for:

1. Leading the service through registration with the Care Inspectorate.

2. Embedding inspection-ready policies, procedures, and quality assurance systems
Recruiting, inducting, supervising, and supporting care staff.

3. Ensuring compliance with legislation, National Care Standards, and Codes of Practice.

4. Overseeing safeguarding, medication management, risk management, and incident reporting.

5. Acting as the main point of contact with regulators and relevant stakeholders.

6. Preparing the service for inspection and early operational delivery

Essential Requirements:
- Current registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
- Proven experience managing a domiciliary care service
- Strong knowledge of Care Inspectorate requirements
- Experience in safeguarding, medication management, and quality assurance
- PVG Scheme membership (or willingness to update)
