Summary

Job Title: Care Assistant

Location: Bolton and Surrounding Areas
Reporting To: Coordinator / Registered Manager
Contract Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, or Bank Staff ON ZERO HOURS BASIS
Pay: £24570 per Annum (Full-Time) | Pro-Rata for Part-Time | Overtime Available (Up To 20 Hours/Week)

Shift Times:

- 7.00am-3.00pm

- 4.00pm-10.00pm

Weekend availability strongly preferred.

Who we’re looking for:

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Care Assistants who must be drivers with access to their own car. The role involves travelling between clients’ homes.

You should be confident working independently, have strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for supporting others.

Key Responsibilities:

Your duties will include (but are not limited to):

- Providing personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and continence care including stoma and catheter care.
- Use of equipment to provide care, such as hoists, slide sheets, wheel chairs, turntable
- Supporting clients with complex care needs, particularly elderly individuals
- Helping with daily living tasks: cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping
- Prompting, administering, and collecting medication
- Accompanying clients to appointments or social outings
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Monitoring and reporting on changes to clients' physical and mental well-being

Requirements:

- Full UK driving licence and access to your own car – essential
- Previous care experience is highly desirable
- Must have right to work in the UK – we are unable to provide sponsorship
