Summary
Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Location: Alcester, Warwickshire
Hours: 8am - 5pm/ 1pm finish friday
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble complex bespoke packaging machinery from kit form, following detailed specifications.
• Modify and machine parts to ensure proper fitment and smooth operation of machinery.
• Test and troubleshoot machines, solving mechanical and electrical issues as they arise.
• Follow strict safety and quality standards throughout the production process.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, including modifications and testing results.
Skills & Experience:
• A recognized engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ, BTEC, or equivalent) or relevant hands-on experience in mechanical or machinery assembly.
• Strong experience in machine assembly, fitting, or mechanical modification (experience with packaging machines is a plus).
• Ability to machine and modify parts to ensure proper fitment and functionality.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• A background in automated systems or electromechanical systems would be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
