AI Cloud Consultant (Contract)

Overview
We are seeking an experienced AI Cloud Consultant to lead the discovery and analysis phase of an AI-driven project within a large, regulated financial services environment. The role focusses on assessing current capabilities, advising on governance and controls, and producing a strategic recommendations paper to guide implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct discovery and analysis of current AI and cloud architecture, including upcoming deployment of Tines (AI-enabled product).
- Evaluate AWS Bedrock capabilities and potential integration within the organisation.
- Deliver a recommendations paper outlining:
- Optimal AI use cases
- Governance and control frameworks
- Cost and credit optimisation strategies
- Implementation roadmap
- Advise on technical governance, regulatory obligations, and guardrails for AI adoption.
- Provide guidance on billing models, query optimisation, and best practices for AI platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams to test use cases and validate recommendations.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Deep understanding of AI platforms and practical implementation strategies.
- Strong cloud architecture expertise, ideally with AWS Bedrock experience. (Essential)
- Ability to optimise billing models and credit usage for AI services.
- Familiarity with governance frameworks and regulatory compliance in large organisations.
- Proven experience delivering strategic recommendations and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Industry experience in financial services or other regulated environments preferred.
