Your new company
We're supporting a specialist further education provider in Coventry that works with young people who have a range of additional needs. They're looking for part‑time SEN Learning Support Assistants who can offer consistent, high quality support across the week.
This role is ideal for someone who wants meaningful, hands on SEN experience without committing to a full‑time timetable.
What you'll be doing
- Providing tailored support to learners with diverse SEN/SEND needs
- Assisting with classroom activities, practical sessions, and structured learning
- Encouraging communication, independence, and engagement
- Offering 1:1 or small‑group support depending on learner needs
- Helping with personal care where required
- Working closely with teaching and support teams to maintain a positive learning environment
What you'll need to succeed
This setting requires strong, confident candidates with SEN experience. You'll need to be adaptable, patient, and able to build rapport quickly. As this is a temp‑to‑perm opportunity, you must also be able to progress through the setting's interview and onboarding process.
You'll be a great fit if you:
- Have experience supporting SEN/SEND learners
- Can commit to 2-3 days a week consistently
- Are proactive, reliable, and calm under pressure.
