Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Physiotherapist to join the Dorset Pain Management Service. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working with patients with long term conditions but if not please do get in touch anyway and have a chat as full training and support will be provided.
The post is part-time and will cover East Dorset and the team base will be Poole Community Health Centre with hybrid working and face to face clinics in locations across the patch.
The Dorset Pain Management Service is a vibrant service, consisting of an inter-professional team. We employ modernised clinical practice to help people coping with chronic, non-malignant pain lead meaningful lives.
Our pan-Dorset service offers individual interventions and group programmes in various locations county wide; these are delivered by two teams across the county. The staff mix includes pain consultants, psychologists, specialist physiotherapists, pain and mental health nurses and occupational therapists, therapy assistants, trainees from various departments and our hardworking admin support team.

To provide a high quality person centred approach to care delivery which always considers people’s safety, privacy and dignity.
To provide specialist care and interventions, assessments, treatments and managing patients on a caseload, as part of the wider multi-disciplinary care team.
To provide specialist advice to others regarding the management and care of patients / service users.
To devise specialist programmes of care for other professionals to deliver and ensure they are delivered appropriately.
To plan, implement and review health improvement programmes in a range of settings.
Provide supervision, mentorship, training and clinical support to students and trained practitioners.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
