An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for dentistry to join a progressive, forward thinking veterinary practice in Bristol. This role is ideal for an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon looking to develop or lead a dentistry focused caseload within a supportive, well-equipped clinical environment. With significant investment planned and genuine flexibility around clinical interests, this position offers outstanding scope for career progression in veterinary dentistry.
The practice will be opening a brand new, purpose built dental suite in January 2026, creating a unique opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to help shape and grow an advanced dentistry service from the ground up. The team is fully committed to investing in specialist dental equipment tailored to the successful candidate’s requirements, ensuring you can deliver gold standard dental care and pursue complex procedures with confidence. This makes the role particularly attractive to vets with an interest in advanced dentistry, imaging led dental work, or those working towards or holding a certificate.
You will be joining an experienced and collaborative veterinary team, including certificate holders in surgery and diagnostic imaging, allowing for excellent case support, referrals, and multidisciplinary discussion. The practice places a strong emphasis on clinical excellence, professional development, and knowledge sharing, creating an environment where Veterinary Surgeons are encouraged to innovate, develop special interests, and provide the highest standards of patient and client care.
