Monday to Thursday: 07:00-16:00
Friday: 07:00-12:00
We are currently recruiting for our client in Middleton for a Manual Machinist. You will be responsible for producing small batches of precision-machined stainless steel valve components for the oil and gas sector using manual milling machines and lathes.
Key Responsibilities- Manufacture components to specification, ensuring compliance with technical drawings.
- Modify and adapt existing parts as required.
Essential:
- Time-served experience operating manual milling machines.
- Previous experience in a production environment.
- Strong engineering background.
- Proficient in using manual measurement tools.
Desirable:
- Experience operating manual lathes (Capston, Hardinge, or Colchester).
- Willingness to learn lathe operation.
