About Me
I am a female living with my husband, children, and our pet cat and dog. I am looking to employ a Personal Assistant to support me with personal care, meal preparation, domestic tasks, and accessing the community.
I experience non‑epileptic attacks, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, reduced mobility, and frequent falls. I use a walker at home and have a stairlift, although I do sometimes attempt the stairs independently.
I enjoy crafting, watching TV, listening to music, and walking my dog, although my mobility often makes this difficult.
About the Role
I am looking for a Personal Assistant who is:
Understanding
Reliable
Kind
Positive and supportive
Duties may include:
Supporting me on short dog walks to ensure my safety
Helping me access the community, including shopping trips (this may involve pushing a wheelchair or supporting me with my walking frame)
Light domestic duties
Meal preparation
Personal care
Providing companionship — sometimes just enjoying a cup of tea and a chat!
Working hours: Monday to Friday, starting at 08:00.
This is a permanent role, offering contracted hours, annual leave, pension, and salary paid every 4 weeks.
Requirements
Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
Must have no criminal background
Role is subject to a DBS check and satisfactory references
