Grounds Maintenance Operative
Location: Crawley, West Sussex
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are recruiting a Grounds Maintenance Operative to work across sites in and around Crawley. This is a hands-on outdoor role suited to someone practical, reliable, and comfortable working independently.
Key Duties:
Grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, and general landscaping
Leaf clearance and seasonal grounds maintenance
Weed control and basic planting
Keeping sites clean, safe, and well-presented
Use and basic maintenance of grounds maintenance equipment
Requirements:
Previous grounds maintenance or landscaping experience preferred
Full UK driving licence – essential
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Physically fit and capable of manual work
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
