Summary

Reception Year Teacher – Full-time, long-term roles starting as soon as possible These flexible opportunities are ideal for Reception Year Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different EYFS settings in Islington and nearby boroughs. Roles are available for immediate start and offer long-term potential in supportive school environments.Duties as Reception Year Teacher:

• Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
• Support children’s early development in literacy, numeracy, and social skills
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff to ensure pupil progress
• Maintain accurate records of pupil development and liaise with parents/carers
• Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently

Ideal Reception Year Teacher:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching in Early Years or Reception classes
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
• Is adaptable, enthusiastic, and committed to pupil development
• Has excellent communication and classroom management skills
