Summary

An opportunity for an experienced and organised family legal secretary to join a highly regarded and established solicitors’ firm. The successful candidate will provide support and assistance to fee earners within the family department

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare, format and proofread correspondence and legal documents and keep accurate and up to date records on the firm’s case management system.
• Liaise with clients and provide updates on progress of their cases.
• Answer and make phone calls and manage email communications.
• Schedule appointments and manage diaries.
• Assist with billing, time recording, and other administrative tasks.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with legal procedures.

Person Requirements
• One year’s previous experience as a legal secretary essential.
• Experience with digital dictation and audio typing preferred.
• Excellent typing and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• An organised and methodical approach to working with excellent attention to detail.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills providing a customer focused, quality service at all times.
