Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced part time Administrative Assistant to join our friendly Alternative Care Team, which is part of our Children’s Social Care service. We are looking for people who thrive in a busy working environment.
About the role:
The role is based in Civic Centre, Keynsham and involves working alongside other admin colleagues to support the team of social workers and managers. We seek applicants with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, who have a friendly, patient and confident approach with colleagues, other professionals and members of the public, to join our supportive and professional team.
About you:
You will be able to evidence that you have excellent IT skills and have the ability to quickly learn new software and systems. We are looking for an excellent typist who can produce professional letters/reports and a good eye for detail when inputting information onto the system.
In addition to all these competencies, it is essential for you to be flexible in your approach to meet the requirements of a busy team. You will have an informed and professional manner when dealing families and professionals, and process confidential and sensitive information in line with corporate and national guidelines.

Higher level IT skills are required for the post and as such there will be an administrative IT test.
