Summary
Neway International are seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer with Plumbing Bias (L4Z1) to join our client based with Camden Council.
Location: Crowndale Centre
Hours: 36 per week, Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:30
Pay Rate: £24.92 PAYE / £32.56 Umbrella

This temporary assignment supports a skills shortage and provides essential cover within the service.
The Role
You will work as a Multi Skilled Engineer with a strong plumbing bias, delivering high‑quality repairs, maintenance and minor works across Camden’s housing and community estate. The role requires a practical, hands‑on engineer capable of working independently, diagnosing issues, and completing works efficiently and safely.
You will be expected to manage your own workload, attend appointments, and ensure all works meet compliance, safety and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out plumbing repairs, maintenance and installations across council properties
Deliver multi‑trade works where required, supporting wider building maintenance tasks
Diagnose faults, assess repair requirements and complete works to a high standard
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and council procedures
Maintain accurate records of works completed and materials used
Liaise with residents, colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth service delivery
Work independently, managing time and priorities effectively
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Engineer with a strong plumbing background
Ability to carry out a range of building maintenance tasks across multiple trades
Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently
Excellent understanding of health and safety requirements
Good communication skills and a customer‑focused approach
Eligibility to work, photo ID and compliance documentation required
Ability to provide three years of references
