Summary
Humly is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Preston to recruit a full-time KS1 Learning Support Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 1.
This role will start from 19th January 2026 and initially run until 27th March 2026, with the potential to continue beyond this period. The school is seeking a reliable and consistent educator with experience supporting mixed-ability classes, including pupils with SEN.
The role includes leading targeted small-group work, particularly in phonics and maths, and supporting pupils throughout the school day.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting pupils across KS1 in the classroom
Leading small-group phonics and maths interventions
Supporting pupils of mixed abilities, including children with SEN
Working closely with class teachers to support learning
Promoting engagement, confidence and positive behaviour
What You’ll Bring
Experience supporting pupils in a primary school setting
Confidence working across KS1
Experience supporting children with SEN or additional needs
Ability to lead small-group interventions
A reliable, proactive and consistent approach
Pay Structure
From £13.70 per hour
From £14.85 per hour (where SEN duties apply)

Full-time, Monday to Friday
Enhanced DBS required (if required, Humly can support with an Enhanced DBS at a cost to the educator)
