Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
We now have the opportunity to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support pupils and the teacher in classes.
The Teaching Assistant will support pupils of all abilities, including those with SEND and/or ASD, following guidance and direction from the school to help every child engage and make progress.
You will also need to be able to demonstrate physical resilience and confidence to deal with high levels of challenging behaviour.
• Demonstrate an understanding to support pupils
• Work in and out of class
• Be prepared to support children with personal care
• Communicate clearly and have good standards of literacy and numeracy
• Experience in Early Years would be preferred
• Be a reliable team member
• Have a calm temperament
• Be energetic. creative and enthusiastic
This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity that will give you invaluable experience along with excellent support and training. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and interest to pursue or expand their own experience.
