What you'll do
As a Vice President in Structured Finance, you’ll play a critical role in helping to support our clients’ strategic and event driven growth ambitions across a range of market segments and asset classes, including Leveraged Finance, Large Corporates, Asset Based Lending, Project Finance & Infrastructure and High Growth.
From insightful analysis and engaging pitch materials to term sheets and detailed credit analysis, you’ll support our origination efforts and share your expertise to make sure transactions are completed on time and delivered to the highest standard of credit and underwriting risk management and stewardship.
Day to day, you’ll be:
- Developing great working relationships with our coverage, product partners and credit teams to identify opportunities to support our clients and expand the scope and profitability of Structured Finance
- Building a network of contacts and utilising this to make sure that every aspect of our customers’ requirements is considered
- Building your technical experience and personal skills to deliver the best solutions for our clients
- Working with portfolio management teams to identify secondary distribution opportunities that maintain the origination capacity and the profitability of our back book
The skills you'll need
To thrive in this role, you’ll need experience of collaborating with other colleagues and stakeholders from across the bank to deliver important transactions for your clients.
You’ll also have a diploma in Lending Skills, or equivalent experience.
You’ll also need to demonstrate:
- Practical experience of risk management disciplines and their application to our target segments and market
- Knowledge of our product suite
- Excellent analytical and credit skills
- A proactive approach to collaboration
- Stakeholder management and strong communication skills
- Good time management and organisational skills as well as a strong personal drive to win with our customers
