About the Role
We're looking for dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to support learners with a range of additional needs in a specialist education setting. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping young people build confidence, independence, and key life skills.
You'll work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support, encourage engagement, and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to learners with additional needs
- Assist with classroom activities, communication, and engagement
- Promote independence and positive behaviour
- Support with personal care where required
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support teams
- Follow safeguarding and behaviour policies
What We're Looking For
- Experience supporting young people or adults with SEN
- A patient, calm, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability and a genuine passion for supporting learners
