Summary

University of Sheffield
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the University of Sheffield’s Admissions Service as an Admissions Administrator.

In this key role, you will be responsible for processing applications for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses and for providing support to staff in a group of academic schools. This will include assessing applications against agreed entry criteria and communicating application outcomes. You will work closely alongside other members of the admissions team to ensure that admissions procedures are successfully completed and that policies are effectively adhered to.

The ideal candidate will be educated to A Level or equivalent, with experience of working in a similar role or busy office environment. As this role involves responding to a range of admissions related queries from applicants and other external enquirers, you will be customer oriented, with good interpersonal and communication skills. You will have excellent organisational and time management skills, and be willing to work flexibly when necessary in order to meet deadlines.
