Do you prefer a hands-on role where accuracy and attention to detail are essential?We are looking for a Loading Supervisor to play a key role in ensuring customer orders are loaded safely, accurately, and on time. This is a practical, supervisory role within a busy distribution environment.Shift Pattern:Monday to Friday, 3:00pm – 12:00amKey ResponsibilitiesLoad delivery vehicles in line with vehicle manifests and delivery schedulesEnsure all vehicles are loaded safely and products are protected during transitDouble-check loads for accuracy and inconsistenciesSupervise team members and agency staff, providing direction where requiredIdentify and rectify any damaged productsEnsure all staff are signed in and accounted for during the shiftSecure the premises and confirm vehicles are locked at the end of each shiftEnsure team members follow correct processes and proceduresPlan and carry out training requirements for the teamCommunicate effectively with office teams and provide accurate loading issue reportsMonitor and control Health & Safety compliance during loading operationsInvestigate missing items, incorrect loads, or items left in the warehouseEnsure tasks are correctly allocated and completed by team membersCarry out picking and packing of customer orders and samplesPrepare products for delivery using protective materialsLoad crates and containers when requiredAssist customers with collections during the shiftAbout YouCompetent using computer systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and WordStrong attention to detailFlexible, reliable, and well organisedConfident managing staff and arranging cover for sickness or shortagesHands-on and proactive approachWilling to support tasks outside of core responsibilities when neededAble to work well under pressureExcellent verbal and written communication skillsEssential: Valid 7.5 tonne driving licence and tachoWhat’s on OfferHealth cash plan24/7 virtual GP accessChristmas shutdown periodGym and retail discountsLong service recognitionGroup life insuranceCycle to Work schemePension schemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeCareer development and training opportunitiesOpportunities to take part in charitable and community initiativesCompany social events
