Summary

Management Accountant (Temporary, Up to 6 Months) – Huntingdon

Rate: £28.60 per hour | Hours: 37 per week, Mon–Fri | Location: Hybrid – 2 days in the office

We are working with a leading organisation to recruit a Management Accountant on a temporary basis for up to 6 months. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving financial planning, performance, and decision-making across your business area.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver accurate budgets, forecasts, and actuals for your designated business area.

  
  

• Act as the single point of contact for budget holders, providing timely financial information.

  
  

• Support the Finance Manager and team in achieving key milestones and budget objectives.

  
  

• Ensure compliance with financial controls and policies, escalating issues as needed.

  
  

• Drive continuous improvement in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.

  
  

• Use financial reporting and analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, SAP) to provide high-quality insights.

  
  

  What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent experience.

    
    

  • Strong experience in management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and actuals.

    
    

  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders and communicate financial information effectively.

    
    

  • Experience in financial controls, compliance, and reporting.

    
    

  • Familiarity with Power BI, SAP, or similar reporting tools is highly desirable.
