Summary
A CDP is responsible for running a specific "section" or "station" of the kitchen. While a Head Chef oversees the entire kitchen, the CDP ensures that their specific area—whether it's the grill, sauces, or pastry—operates flawlessly
Specific Responsibilities:
To plan, prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by the company.
To be responsible for your section communicating any food orders to the Head Chef
To provide information on specials as requested
To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with customers.
To control portion size and monitor waste as required.
To ensure Health and Safety and Food Safety Standards are maintained in line with company policy.
To support the Head Chef in the day to day running of the kitchen.
To ensure Food Policy documentation is completed on a daily and weekly basis in accordance with company policy as requested
To be responsible for the kitchen when requested
