***HGV C+E DAY DRIVER WANTED***
Here at The Best Connection we are looking for HGV C+E Day drivers to join our client based in Nursling.
This is an ad-hoc with the potential to have ongoing or full time work.
Pay/Salary - £15.95 PAYE / £19.95 PAYE UMBRELLA
Location - Nursling, Southampton
Start Time - Between 05:00am-07:00am
Shift Patterns - Working Mon to Fri, with potential weekend work
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Driving Class 1 vehicles doing day trunks, container or bulk deliveries
- Straight day trunks up to Main hub in Derby, load or unload and back again
- Collecting and delivering containers from and to the docks and straight to the customer
- Doing local bulk general haulage deliveries and collections
- Vehicle checks before and after every shift
- Reporting any issues on the road to managers in the office
WHAT WILL BE REQUIRED:
- Full UK C+E Licence
- Valid CPC & Tachograph Digi Card
- DP World Card desired but not essential
- Working Monday to Friday doing day shifts
- Customer service skills
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Class 1 experience
- On-site parking
- Potential for ongoing or full time work
