Summary

Packer / Extrusion Line Operator

Avonmouth | £12.50 per hour PAYE / £16.20 per hour Umbrella | Full-Time | Permanent

Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer / Extrusion Line Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a structured warehouse environment, focusing on materials handling and mechanical operations.

Key Duties:
  • Accurately pack orders to meet customer requirements.

  • Operate extrusion line machinery (full training provided).

  • Safely handle raw materials and finished goods, including loading and unloading.

  • Perform heavy lifting in line with safe manual handling practices.

  • Maintain high quality standards and adhere to health and safety regulations.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred (materials handling, picking & packing, shipping & receiving).

  • Mechanical knowledge or experience operating extrusion machinery advantageous (training provided).

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and perform heavy lifting safely.

  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
