About the Job

You’ll have an important part to play reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you’ll be at the heart of our financial
operations across key growth areas. We are aiming to expand and diversify beyond our existing internal combustion engine portfolio
into exciting new sectors. You will be instrumental in ensuring robust financial controls are meticulously implemented and
strictly followed.

As the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will drive plant productivity and profitability as we venture into new growth
opportunities. You'll be leading and managing the site finance Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) team, ensuring
the financial engine of the business runs smoothly and efficiently.




As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:

* Ensure divisional leadership are kept informed with a weekly flash of Growth finances and that plant management are provided
with accurate and on time financial KPI’s and are held to account for operational performance
* Provide accurate, on time completion and review of monthly management accounts, supporting group submissions, variance analysis
and review of balance sheet reconciliations
* Support all commercial activities, ensuring accurate sales and margin data is available, interrogate commercial costings to
ensure effective pricing strategies are implemented and support commercial discussions wherever necessary
* Develop and maintain product costing and inventory valuations.
* Create costing for all new growth products and implement them in the ERP system
* Update standard costs annually
* Proactively propose and evaluate cost saving / profit enhancing, continuous improvement or system enhancement opportunities
* Maintain and manage the businesses monthly cash flow forecast and support group treasury in any additional analysis needed
* Manage all site Opex and Capex projects ensuring accurate investment appraisals, cost control and post project reviews are
completed
* Direct and support AP & AR Finance staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained, to carry out their
responsibilities to the required standards







About You




We’d love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you’d be able to perform well in this
role!

* Qualified chartered accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a relevant degree in finance or accounting
* Experience of leading and developing teams
* Financial reporting expertise
* Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate large data sets
* Ability to communicate and build strong relationships across all levels
* Strong commercial awareness
* Extensive experience as a Finance Business Partner level in a fast-paced manufacturing facility, with a proven track record of
delivering results at a senior level
* Working knowledge of VAT, Corporation Tax, RDEC and UK GAAP
* Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (IFS desirable)
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
