We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our team at 70-72 Whitehall, delivering exceptional hospitality services to government officials and their guests.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a prestigious environment where attention to detail and high standards are paramount.
Job Description
The position is primarily hospitality-focused, with some staff dining responsibilities. You will play a key role in ensuring food quality, presentation, and safety standards are consistently met, while supporting the delivery of retail, hospitality, and event catering.
Flexibility and a strong customer focus are essential, as you will work closely with both kitchen and front-of-house teams to provide an outstanding service experience.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain company standards, policies, and procedures across all kitchen operations.
Prepare and deliver food for retail, hospitality, and events in line with company specifications.
Comply with allergen management processes from production through to service.
Support hospitality and event food production, including canapés, fine dining, and tasting menus.
Ensure food safety and health & safety management systems are adhered to at all times.
Take responsibility for opening and closing procedures within designated areas.
Assist the Sous Chef and deputise in the absence of the Head Chef.
Attend daily service briefs and collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless delivery.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, ideally within contract catering.
Strong background in hospitality food production.
Food Safety Certificate essential.
Excellent customer focus and communication skills.
Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively within a team.
Passion for food quality, presentation, and innovation.
