We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mobile Commercial Plumber to join our facilities management team supporting a UK government contract.​

Working across multiple sites throughout East London, you will deliver planned and reactive plumbing maintenance to ensure building services remain safe, compliant, and fully operational across a portfolio of commercial properties.

Job Description

This is a mobile role, well suited to an experienced commercial plumber who enjoys autonomy, variety, and working across a diverse estate.

You will be responsible for PPMs, fault-finding, remedial works, and minor installations across plumbing and associated mechanical building services.​

Candidates must be multi-skilled with experience in commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive plumbing works across multiple commercial sites.

Diagnose, fault-find, and repair plumbing systems including hot and cold water systems, sanitary ware, pipework, valves, pumps, and boosters.

Undertake remedial works and minor installations as required.

Support compliance activities including water hygiene tasks (where trained), inspections, and system checks.

Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with current regulations and site procedures.

Accurately complete electronic job sheets, reports, and compliance documentation.

Work independently and liaise effectively with other engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors when required.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or Mechanical Services (essential).

Proven experience as a mobile commercial plumber or building services engineer.

Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and general mechanical building services.

Experience working within multi-site FM or commercial environments.

Water Hygiene / Legionella Awareness training (desirable).

Ability to carry out basic mechanical or fabric tasks (multi-skilled advantageous).

Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points).
